About me
Born in 1995 in South Korea, I studied Economics and Mathematics at university and have worked as a data scientist developing AI services. Although my professional path has been quite different from art, I have always had a deep interest in it since childhood. Art—along with journaling—has served as a sanctuary and a mental refuge for me since I was 7.
I used to create many drawings, mainly in graphite, and recently I have been working with oil paints. I have long been drawn to patterns, structures, and systems—an interest that also shaped my academic path. Yet in my artistic practice, I rely heavily on intuition, which makes me feel vulnerable and strong at the same time. Creating art feels like engaging a different part of my mind—one that moves in silence and relates to time and emotion differently, distinct from the logical frameworks of everyday life.
